The list of great places to travel in Europe is a long one: London, Paris, and Rome are usually at the head of it. But there are so many other great places to travel in Europe. Some of my favorites are:
St Petersburg, Russia is a gorgeous city built on a swamp. Because of its canals and bridges, it is sometimes called the Venice of the North. St Petersburg is also home to the Hermitage Museum, which is a staggeringly large museum of art housed in the Russian Tsar’s Winter Palace. The square in front of the Hermitage is considered to be the starting point of the Bolshevik Revolution. The Kirov Ballet, one the world’s best companies, is based in St Petersburg. Between the art, history, and cultural attractions, a trip to St. Petersburg will certainly be memorable.
Just a short train ride west from St. Petersburg you’ll find one of Europe’s most enchanting cities, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Once a part of the Soviet Union, the Estonians embraced capitalism enthusiastically, once they were given the opportunity. Seeing the value of tourism,
